Last week, Pictometry International Corp. bought GeoEstimator. We are thrilled to be combining two market-leading businesses in a way that will quickly provide our customers with “more”.

"More" means more image coverage. Pictometry has a global image library of continually-updated images that includes all major U.S. markets and imagery captured in all 50 states. "More" also means more detail because Pictometry imagery is the highest resolution aerial imagery that’s available today. Pictometry uses a patented image capture system that shows rooftop views and views of the fronts and sides of structures from multiple angles. "More" also means more accurate measurement and reporting capabilities for GeoEstimator customers.

GeoEstimator combines Pictometry’s professional-grade, high-resolution imagery and measuring capabilities with reporting capabilities to create drawings and accurate calculations of roof area, lineal footage of ridge, valley, eave, rake, hip and step flashing.  The end result is a downloadable file that can be easily adjusted to accommodate any additional information that’s needed.

The 2011 IRE was a great start to the 2011 season! For those of you who were able to join us in person, thanks for stopping by. We love getting a chance to see our customers face-to-face and hear about how we are doing, as well as, how we can improve as a company.
